It's that time again. The friends I grew up with some 43 years ago met up again for a reunion in Marriot Putrajaya on 20th December 2014. The last official one we had was in Johor Bahru 3 years ago. On Friday evening the group started with having dinner at a mee tarik place in Bandar Baru Bangi. The friend I was bunking in with and I couldn't join them but instead went straight to Marriot Hotel arriving late evening. We checked in and later received our packed mee tarik for dinner. of us checked in at the hotel the night before the 'Breakfast Reunion'. Friends came from closeby and faraway from Johor Bahru as well as New Zealand.
At approximately 10pm around fifteen of us Invincibles convened to Room 734 (Datin Bun's and mine) for a get together. The topic for the night was from grandmother's tales to grandchildren's progress, from sports to supernatural. All of us had a late night, almost all anyway.
The next day started with a walk in the Botanical Gardens and tai chi led by Shamim , the one who came back from New Zealand. Some decided to stay in bed like yours truly. When the girls came back from the Botanical Gardens we convened at the Marriot restaurant for the Breakfast get together which was the Highlight of the Reunion. After breakfast some just stayed behind to chit chat over a couple of drinks before we parted ways to live our normal lives again.
