PR1MA Housing

When I checked the website on PR1MA, I was happy to know that my daughter and her husband is eligible to apply. I personally did not find out where these housings are located in the State. However should my daughter not see the need to apply then her decision on not to apply can give another who really needs the house/apartment a better chance of getting their application approved. On the other hand how do you stop people from trying to get the house even if they do not need it by using their children's names and how do the authorities check if the 'buyer' actually lives in the house. Just thinking aloud.

The criteria to apply taken from the web:

Pemohon mestilah Warganegara Malaysia.
Pemohon mestilah berumur sekurang- kurangnya 21 tahun semasa permohonan dibuat.

Syarat-syarat tambahan mengikut negeri-negeri.

Nota:

- Perumahan PR1MA akan diperuntukkan melalui proses pengundian terbuka.

So don't miss on this chance.

I have been looking at houses within a 50km radius of Kuala Lumpur, Petaling Jaya or Subang Jaya (the Klang Valley). A link houses are in the range of RM600,000 to RM800,000 and no less. The super link, semi-detached and bungalows are from RM1.5 million and the prices are always in small print at the bottom of the advertisemenst in the media or brochures. So how do the average new generation survive.

There are some parents who have already acquired a property each for their children. One has 5, million Ringgit mansions in Kuala Lumpur for the four children and lives in one too. I have worked for more than 30 years and I can't even pay a million Ringgit loan per month. It's so worrying but there are still people who can afford to buy. One really have to go into big business to earn so much I presume. Will we reach a state like it is in cities where the gap between the rich and the poor gets bigger. The only alternative is to get away from the cities, where houses are cheaper but the next question is are there jobs available outside the cities. I am sure there are....... after all rezeki is from Allah. So my city born and bred young ones in the family, think about relocating ok to the life away from the hustle bustle of city life.... maybe???
