7 July 2012 marks the celebration of true friends. It started with a trip to the ole school, Kolej Tunku Kurshiah. Soon it will not be the same anymore. The college will be moved to a new venue in another part of the State come 2013 or is it end of this year. We made our last trip to the college that morning. We called ourselves the 'Invincibles' 40 years ago and we still refer ourselves that today. After spending about one and a half hour there we continued our journey to Johore Bahru, my hometown for our celebration which was held at Puteri Pan Pacific JB.
On arrival at the hotel we were served with a good buffet spread for late lunch. Some arriving in the chartered bus while others drove down with family members. An hour after lunch we pampered ourselves to a spa and reflexology treat. It was so destressing and simply relaxing and refreshing. After solat maghrib we attended the Gala Dinner- the whole theme was the Celebrities Award Night. We individually walked down the red carpet and took photos aka a celebrity.

We had dinner and after, there were award giving, quizes, karaoke, dancing and heartfelt sharing sessions. Celebration ends at 1.00am.
Early the next morning, we had the group photo session in our newly designed T-shirts followed by light aerobics and poco-poco. we had breakfast afterwards. After breakfast we relaxed in our rooms some chatting away to make up for lost time among us before we checked out of the hotel at noon. The group then went to JPO to do a little shopping and later travel back to Kuala Lumpur where majority started their journey the day before . Insyallah we'll meet again and share many more years of experience together. Come to think of it, there will be an usrah the next weekend at one of the girl's home. Never too soon.
